  1. Isoroku Yamamoto was supposed to have said, “I would never invade America, there is a gun behind every blade of grass.” Current estimate is that ~70 million citizens own one or more guns. I just did a bit or research related to military strengths by number of members (people). Under the following classifications Active 19,861,688; Reserve 18,990,021; Paramilitary24,097,210; Total 62,948,919. Keep in mind this is TOTAL of all countries on the world. The US being the third largest sorted by Active military. Classification by US only is: 1,379,800 ;849,450 ; 0; 2,229,250 . Total number of hunters in the US is ~10million. Not sure what might happen in the future, but guessing it will not be pretty.

  2. My ancient computer skipped and my comment disappeared.
Anyway, that was excellent. And thank you all, wherever you may be, for hearing some truth about we in the USA, which is, in my opinion, the most – or at the least near the top – most corrupt nation in the world, which from I wish to escape.
I think it's insulting to refer to ourselves as as "American," since we all, Central, South, and North, are all Americans.
As in most countries, from what I can tell, we the people are just us, and generally don't like what our governments do. Peace, and let's all just take care of ourselves.
Which, sadly, includes trying to rein in our own governments – a seemingly almost impossible task. I am not proud of my government, and most I know are not either.
We're still trying. Seems we're failing though.
